Why I am Running...

I first ran for Vigo County School Board at the height of the pandemic, declaring in the summer of 2020. That seemed like insanity to most people, but I had
a deep sense of calling
that continues to this day.

I am running for re-election to the School Board because I am proud of the work we are doing to move Vigo County School Corporation forward through our new Superintendent. I want to continue to support that. As a full-time professional in education and workforce policy and a VCSC parent, I have value to add to the governance of our public schools.

People say being a School Board member is a thankless job. But the reweard in this work comes from the tangible proof of improvements for our schools.

I continue to be a believer in this institution and its capacity to serve young people and build up our community through education. I also love Terre Haute and Vigo County, and there is no where else she would rather serve. (Read the Tribune Star article, "It's Beautiful Here.")

Help me continue to right the ship and steer VCSC into a bright future for our students and our entire community.
